You know what I love about life?
The moment when my friends, Alex and Jaime, and their son Elliot, send me a video answering this exact question. Watching all 14 seconds of their video fills my heart with joy and gratitude.
As I sit in front of my computer editing a video for my show on June 15th, 2019, I can't help but reflect on all the amazing people I have the pleasure of knowing and watching grow, and fight, and WIN! Victory is not mine it is OURS! Watching Elliot hide his face as his papa explains that he is what he loves about life is a victory. It is a victory that I can watch and be strengthened by. Music can heal and inspire. It can shape minds and change lives. I want to make music that does all that.
I want to make music that Alex and Jamie can play, as Elliot dances around their living room.
